Curricula for Being Human
When You Weren't Believed — A Workbook for Processing Invalidation: $25
Being INVALIDATED can be excruciatingly painful. Many people who have lived through something hard report that what came afterward hurt as much as the event itself — being disbelieved, dismissed, told it wasn't that bad, or that they should have moved on by now.
This workbook is for those carrying the weight of not having been believed.
A few things worth knowing before you buy:
It never asks you to write about what happened. Every prompt focuses on what you needed, what you felt, and what you notice now.
There's no order and no timeline. You can read one page and set it down for as long as you like. Follow your intuition. It knows the way.
It's a companion, not treatment. This is a starting point. It is important to bring trusted others into your process as well. Support resources are included.
Inside:
A grounding practice to come back to
What research says about invalidation after trauma
What your body carried
What Embodied Validation can offer — three findings from the author's own research study
When invalidation is chronic
Offering validation to yourself
Why what was harmed relationally can heal relationally
Word banks for naming it
Eight reflection questions AND a haiku prompt (you might be surprised how cathartic a simple poem can be!)
Support and crisis resources, US and international

Validation MadLibs: $9
Here's the thing: accessing new ideas around validation, or anything, is helped by humor, lightness, and play. So, if you want to think about validation differently, process experiences of invalidation in a low-touch way, or just connect with friends with intentionality, this will do that.
The group text that brings your whole-body peace. The family dinner where you feel accepted and supported just as you are. The performance review that actually feels appreciative. The first date where you stop performing and let be what is. Moments where you felt met and validated.
Twenty-one short, fillable scenes about being met — missing a handful of words that you get to come up with. Play it the classic way: hand it to a friend and have them call out the blanks without showing you the story first. Or play on your own and fill it in as you go. Bring it on your next road trip or your next coffee date. Add it to your morning journaling rhythm. However you go about it, you end up reading something so so funny and thought-provokingly true out loud - and it helps you better understand yourself and others.
Inside:
21 fillable MadLibs scenes on different validation moments (friends, family, work, romance, and more)
A short "How to Play" page
Instant digital download. Fillable PDF — works in Adobe Acrobat, Preview, or your browser. No printer required.
100 Haiku on Validation — Yours to Write: $9
A hundred small containers for a hundred small moments — what validation feels like, what invalidation feels like, what it takes to come back to yourself after either one.
Ten themed sets of ten haiku, moving from the feeling itself through being believed, rupture and repair, validating yourself, and into flow, relief, and return — ending on transformation and liberation. Each one has only three lines, following the syllable count: five, seven, five. It doesn't need to be perfect. It needs to help you process your experiences.
Inside:
100 fillable haiku slots across 10 themed sets
A short "How to Use This Workbook" page
A word bank to draw from when you're stuck
Instant digital download. Fillable PDF — works in Adobe Acrobat, Preview, or your browser. No printer required.
